Lauren and Alex’s Brighton Bath Club wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, family and friendship on a perfectly sunny Melbourne day. Surrounded by their closest family, wonderful friends and the people who mean the most to them, their wedding felt deeply personal, intimate and full of genuine connection.
With its light-filled interiors, cosy atmosphere and beautiful views across the ocean and Melbourne skyline, Brighton Bath Club provided a stunning setting for their wedding day. The relaxed coastal surroundings brought a sense of calm to the celebration, while the warm atmosphere inside made everyone feel instantly at home.
As their Melbourne wedding photographer, I loved documenting the moments as they naturally unfolded — the hugs, laughter, quiet glances and little interactions between Lauren, Alex and their guests. Rather than making the day feel like a series of posed photographs, we kept things relaxed and focused on capturing the people and moments that made their wedding uniquely theirs.
We took some time for Lauren and Alex’s wedding photography session on the balcony, taking in the beautiful views and the sunshine over the coast. It was a chance for the two of them to step away from the celebrations for a little while, breathe, enjoy each other and simply take in the fact that they were married.
As the evening continued, the atmosphere became even more magical. A beautiful saxophone performance on the dance floor brought an incredible energy to the reception, with family and friends coming together to celebrate around Lauren and Alex.
Later, the room softened into an intimate candlelit dinner, creating one of the most beautiful moments of the evening. Surrounded by candlelight, loved ones and the warmth of the people closest to them, Lauren and Alex’s celebration felt incredibly heartfelt and genuine.
