Traditional Indian Wedding at the Golden Castle, Hampton Park- Asweni + Adit
Some mornings begin quietly and unfold into something unforgettable. Asweni and Adit’s traditional Indian wedding ceremony at the Golden Castle in Hampton Park, Melbourne was exactly that — filled with warmth, colour, and heartfelt emotion.
Our team began photography and videography early that morning at 6am at Asweni’s parents’ home. The air was already buzzing with excitement as both families prepared for the day ahead. We captured the beautiful details — the intricate bridal jewellery, the soft folds of traditional silk sarees, and the vibrant hues of Adit’s attire that reflected centuries of rich Indian culture.
The ceremony itself was a deeply traditional South Indian wedding, blessed by countless family members and guided by the sacred rituals passed down through generations. Every moment — from the prayers to the exchange of garlands — carried a sense of devotion and togetherness. It was a celebration not just of two individuals but of two families uniting with love and blessings.
After the ceremony, guests were treated to an authentic South Indian breakfast feast, full of flavour and warmth — the kind that brings everyone to the same table and turns a meal into a memory.
We later took a quiet barefoot walk with Asweni and Adit around the neighbourhood, where we captured some truly beautiful portraits. Away from the crowd, it was just the two of them — soft smiles, gentle glances, and that quiet kind of love that says more than words ever could. Their innocence and grace shone through every frame, reminding us that sometimes, love doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful.
The Golden Castle venue in Hampton Park provided the perfect backdrop for their Indian wedding in Melbourne — grand yet intimate, traditional yet timeless. The colours, the emotions, and the unspoken bond between Asweni and Adit made this celebration one to remember.
It was an honour to capture their story — one that beautifully blended culture, faith, and emotion into a day that will be cherished forever.
